Creature — Human Ninja
NinjutsuNinjutsu is an activated ability that functions only while the card with ninjutsu is in a player’s hand. “Ninjutsu [cost]” means “[Cost], Reveal this card from your hand, Return an unblocked attacking creature you control to its owner’s hand: Put this card onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.”
The card with ninjutsu remains revealed from the time the ability is announced until the ability leaves the stack.
The creature put onto the battlefield with the ninjutsu ability enters attacking the same player, planeswalker, or battle as the creature that was returned to its owner’s hand.
Commander ninjutsu is a variant of the ninjutsu ability that also functions while the card with commander ninjutsu is in the command zone. “Commander ninjutsu [cost]” means “[Cost], Reveal this card from your hand or from the command zone, Return an unblocked attacking creature you control to its owner’s hand: Put this card onto the battlefield tapped and attacking.” (CR 702.49) (, Return an unblocked attacker you control to hand: Put this card onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.)
FlyingFlying is an evasion ability.
A creature with flying can’t be blocked except by creatures with flying and/or reach. A creature with flying can block a creature with or without flying. (See rule 509, “Declare Blockers Step,” and rule 702.17, “Reach.”)
Multiple instances of flying on the same creature are redundant. (CR 702.9)
When Thousand-Faced ShadowShadow is an evasion ability.
A creature with shadow can’t be blocked by creatures without shadow, and a creature without shadow can’t be blocked by creatures with shadow. (See rule 509, “Declare Blockers Step.”)
Multiple instances of shadow on the same creature are redundant. (CR 702.28) enters from your hand, if it's attacking, createTo create one or more tokens with certain characteristics, put the specified number of tokens with the specified characteristics onto the battlefield.
If a replacement effect applies to a token being created, that effect applies before considering any continuous effects that will modify the characteristics of that token. If a replacement effect applies to a token entering the battlefield, that effect applies after considering any continuous effects that will modify the characteristics of that token.
Previously, an effect that created tokens instructed a player to “put [those tokens] onto the battlefield.” Cards that were printed with that text have received errata in the Oracle card reference so they now “create” those tokens. (CR 701.7) a token that's a copy of another target attacking creature. The token enters tapped and attacking.
