When this creature enters, if you castTo cast a spell is to take it from the zone it’s in (usually the hand), put it on the stack, and pay its costs, so that it will eventually resolve and have its effect. A player may cast a spell if they have priority. See rule 601, “Casting Spells.”
To cast a card is to cast it as a spell. (CR 701.5) it, discover“Discover N” means “Exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card with mana value N or less. A player has “discovered” after the process described in 701.57a is complete, even if some or all of those actions were impossible.
If the final card exiled during the process described in rule 701.57a has mana value N or less, it is the “discovered card,” regardless of whether it was cast or put into a player’s hand.
